La Foret Meriget is set in 15 acres of open pasture and woodland and was built around 1800. Until recently it was an equestrian centre with impressive stone built stables and outbuildings. We have extensively renovated the farmhouse and have been developing the smallholding since 2007.
We hope your holiday on our farm will be as memorable and special as possible, especially for the children. You can meet some of our wide variety of animals including alpacas, sheep, cows, goats, rabbits and our very special rare breed pigs.
It's not unusual to be greeted by Bernard the friendly cockerel and his girls as you wander around the farm. At certain times you and your children can come and help feed the animals and pet the lambs and piglets. There are also young chicks and ducklings that love to be petted.

Farmhouse Ground Floor
Lounge: With three piece suite, coffee table, satellite TV and log burning fire.
Dining room: Table and chairs seating eight, large character fireplace and HiFi system.
Snug Room: Seating area, log burning fire and access to the garden.
Kitchen: Newly fitted kitchen with table and chairs, gas cooker, fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher.
Utility Room: Washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing facilities and toilet & handbasin.
Farmhouse First Floor
All the bedrooms feature exposed original beams.
Master Bedroom: King size bed, bedside cabinet, wardrobe and ensuite shower room.
Bedroom 2: Double bed, bedside cabinet, wardrobe.
Bedroom 3: Twin beds, wardrobe and bedside cabinet.
Bedroom 4: Twin beds, bedside cabinet and chest of drawers.
Family Bathroom: Bath, shower, WC and handbasin.
Bed & Breakfast
Bed & Breakfast is offered in a double en-suite room in the farmhouse. Guests have use of a lounge area with TV, DVD player and tea & coffee making facilities. Check in time after 4pm, check out by 10am.
Home cooked evening meals including produce from our smallholding are usually available upon request.
